As the year draws to a close, we’re pausing to reflect on the many lives touched by your compassion and to say thank you. Because of your support, 2025 became a year of healing, dignity, and renewed hope for families in Nicaragua. This year brought extraordinary moments of care, community, and generosity, and we are grateful to share them with you.
Highlights From This Year
Thanks to your support, Clínica Fara continues to be a vital hub of compassionate medical care. This year we reached:
• 17,680 patient charts
• More than 200,000 consultations
• Expanded services provided during our medical missions, including our vascular/vein specialty missions which now integrate physical therapy support for improved patient recovery.
These numbers represent real people receiving wound care, specialized vein treatments, medical attention, and consistent follow-up that simply would not be possible without donors like you.
Stories of Healing & Community Generosity
Celebrating 15 Years of Clínica Fara
The clinic was adorned in beautiful pink and gold. A special highlight came from Irma Soza, a beloved wound-care patient who first came to us during our very first vascular mission. Irma lovingly donated the cakes for this celebration and continues to give back with warmth and generosity.
Looking Ahead: Why Your Year-End Gift Matters
As we plan for 2026, we’re facing growing demand. More families, more elders, and more children need care. With your help, we aim to:
-
Maintain and expand essential wound care services inside the clinic
-
Strengthen support systems for families and seniors who rely on our programs
-
Continue running our medical missions, including vascular/vein missions with physical therapy support, bringing the necessary specialists and supplies into the clinic to meet urgent needs
- We are also in conversations with several foundations dedicated to serving the hearing-impaired, who are considering a specialized mission at Clínica Fara next year. If confirmed, this would bring life-changing services to patients who currently have limited access to hearing evaluations and support.
